Edward, a United States Navy Veteran, performed physically demanding work serving our country. Over time, he developed chronic low back pain that significantly affected his quality of life. In 2021, he underwent an L3–S1 lumbar fusion, which improved certain symptoms but did not fully address the discomfort that continued to affect his low back. When Edward met with Dr. Netzel, they took time to review his history and discuss the possibility that his sacroiliac joint could be contributing to the symptoms he continued to feel.
