About PainTEQ

Where innovation
treats the source.

PainTEQ builds purpose-built technology for undertreated pain — starting with the sacroiliac joint, one of the most overlooked sources of lower back pain.

Our story

Built around a joint that’s been overlooked.

PainTEQ was founded in 2013 in Tampa, Florida by people who saw the same gap their colleagues saw: the SI joint patient had injections, or major fusion, and nothing useful in between.

More than a decade later, PainTEQ remains a dedicated builder of solutions for the sacroiliac joint — with a growing body of peer-reviewed clinical evidence and an ongoing commitment to the data that drives better patient outcomes.

Mission & values · 03

A world where every patient with SI joint dysfunction has access to the fixation solution that fits them — without compromise.

To equip physicians treating SI joint dysfunction with a comprehensive range of evidence-based fixation solutions — from biologically compatible bone allografts to titanium implants — so that every patient, regardless of anatomy, has a clear path to recovery.

F.I.G.H.T

How we show up.

F

Focus.

Disciplined attention on SI joint dysfunction and the patients who need us — we don’t dilute our energy or our mission.

I

Intensity.

We bring urgency and energy to every problem, because patients living with SI joint pain can’t afford to wait.

G

Grit.

We push through setbacks, pivots, and the long paths to approval because the work — and the patients depending on it — matters.

H

Honesty.

We tell the truth to each other, to our customers, and to the data. No spin, no shortcuts, no hiding from hard answers.

T

Team-First.

We win together. Individual achievement means nothing without the collective — we support, challenge, and elevate each other.

Careers · 07

Build the SI joint category.

We’re hiring across sales, clinical, marketing, and operations. If you want to help shape an emerging clinical category — not work on an established one — come talk to us.

01
Pioneering category
Posterior, drill-less SI joint fusion didn’t exist a few years ago. You’ll help shape how it grows.
02
Real outcomes
The work shows up in patients’ lives within weeks of the procedure. Few jobs in medical devices give you that feedback loop.
03
Lean and serious
Small enough that the work you do matters tomorrow. Serious enough that the clinical evidence program is real.
